10 Movies to Watch in 2013

December 30, 2012

Below are 10 Inspirational Movies to Watch in 2013 (adapted from an article by Tim Hjersted on filmsforaction.org).  Personally, I’ve only seen 4 out of 10 in full (marked by asterisk * below) – so I have some catching up to do.  More on these movies, including my full critiques and follow-up “action plan” recommendations, within 2013.

The transformational year of 2012 has come, and now is the time to usher in some major changes in the way we live, coexist, govern and share the Earth’s abundant resources.  Games of greed and manipulation have been fully exposed, as have the players and architects behind those games.  These films hit home on that awakening, by bringing to light how these corruption machines work and how the power of Conscious Human Beings – not mindless or fanatical masses – can come together to create “Real Change”.

Rise like Lions after slumber
In unvanquishable number –
Shake your chains to earth like dew
Which in sleep had fallen on you –
Ye are many – they are few.’

– Percy Bysshe Shelley
